I just logged in as host and changed the control panel to "Ribbonbar" and now I see that, when choosing to "Add an Exsiting Module", I am offered a single option checkbox "Copy Module (with content)" and it is unchecked by default. I assume that that means "copy module without content" if left unchecked? Is this what I want to do?

"Copy Module (with content)" unchecked means "reference" as before

I just re-read the DNN documentation and it states:

  • Check the check box to create an independent instance of this module. This new module contains both the settings and (where applicable) the content of the existing module however you can modify this module without affecting the existing module.
  • Uncheck the check box to display the existing module on this page. This module shares the settings and (where applicable) the content of the existing module and modifying either instance will update both versions
It doesn't sound as if I want either of these options?

I'm okay with just creating a new page and set the "copy from page" options to include this F&L incidence.  Which option should I use: New, Copy, or Reference?

Thanks again!

Okay. I got it working. Turned out to be WAY simpler than I was making it out to be...

Thanks for the help!
