this scenario is supported by Content Staging feature (new to DNN 5.6.0 Enterprise Edition exclusively).
PS: I haven't tested the feature myself, nor have I got any user feedback yet.

if a developer creates an extension like a module or skin, he usually packages it on his development server, e.g. by using the packaging wizard. The resulting skin may be installed on the target server (either new or upgrade an existing previous version). If you want to transfer content of a module or page, as long as the module supports iPortable interface, you may use "export" from the action menu / control panel and import on the target site.

We have made a site that has one portal. and is deployed on Staging server.

after few days...

We have created one custom control [.ascx] file in .net for search provision on Report. It is situated in the "DotNetNukeSourceCodeDev\DesktopModules\Reports" and the ViewReports.ascx is modified with @Register directive and the ascx control.

Report module do not have any change in content and the custome made Search provision is working all-right.

I will be thankful, if you able guide me, from here, how do i make an increamental patch and deploy the custom control on staging server.

Thanks in advance.
