Hi,

Is it possible to reorder the store admin menus items to place "Orders" first?  For regular catalog operation, it would seem that "orders" would be one of the most frequently used menu areas whereas "Store Info" would one of the least frequently used.  Reordering the menu to have orders first would reduce the number of menu clicks trequired for the administrator to operate the catalog on a regular basis.  Just a minor suggestion to improve an already good product. Thanks.

Don

Hi Don,

You can already hide the Store info tab! Create a new role named 'Store Editors' or any name you like. Create a user account and assign it to the new role. Select the new role in the settings 'Manage Orders' and 'Manage Catalog'. Now when you will be logged with the new account the Store Info tab will be hidden to this account.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Gilles,

Your suggestion makes sense. I tend to operate at the admin level but creating another id with less authority is an easy fix. Thanks for clarifying.
