Well, after doing a little more checking and being convinced that DateTime.Now.AddDays(1) should be working, I opened the site page in Firefox (instead of IE) and submitted a vote. As expected the option to vote went away as the cookie was written. I then viewed the cookie via the privacy control panel within Firefox and found that there is more than one cookie stored in the site cookie. One of them is the survey module. And it is dated correctly (tomorrow). I guess that IE is just displaying the first cookie found "embedded" in the main cookie that DNN writes for that session, thus the strange date being displayed for it.

So, I think I'm good to go. I will have a check tomorrow and see if I can vote again.

Thanks again!

Jim

It worked!

I would actually prefer for the cookie to expire right after midnight, so that anytime during the next day they could vote again. If I knew what the actual embedded date/time was formatted like I might try to write a little code that would use the DateTime.Now.AddDays function to increment the day, and hardcode the time to be 00:00:01.

But, as it is, it works ;-)
