There is a section in the GA module where you can type your tracking ID, but I can't find anything about placing your own custom code (I don't think there is an option to display this in the header either, unless I'm mistaken)

Any other ideas guys?

First, there is a way to ignore your own traffic (or traffic coming from your company). Go to Google Analytics, select your domain, click on Edit, then "Add FIlter". You can specify the IP addresses you want to exclude.

Second, I see in the SiteAnalytics.config file, there is a reference to '[CUSTOM_SCRIPT]'. Where is this set? I did not see anything in the Admin/Google Analytics Pro page. I'd like to add some Google Tracking code.

Thanks Pierre.

I have a feeling I'm working on a dynamic IP, so unfortunately it would be very difficult to filter from Google Analytics.

The [CUSTOM_SCRIPT] reference sounds interesting - as the sub domain tracking code is different from the standard tracking code, does anyone know if I am able to enter the sub domain tracking code here for it to track properly?

Thanks

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

@Mark - this sounds good, although if I 'apply to all pages' would this not apply it to the pages under the Admin menu as well, thus tracking page views and time on the site by Administrators?

You can do one thing. Create separate page template per sub domain and include GA tracking code in that template. Now when you create page at that time select appropriate page template. This will be much easier than other option. Here you also have flexibility option for future changes if any occurs.

Hello,
I am running dnn 5.6.2 and I have noticed that Analytics sometimes reports 'no title' for pages that actually have it, and this is really screwing up the stats. By checking the source code the script is inserted in the head before the title tag.
Does that matter now that the code is asynchronous and can the relative position be changed? Shouldn't dnn insert the title tag as early as possible instead? Does that perhaps depend on the skin and is there any way to force that?

Thanks,
Franco
