YAY! Thank you Andrea Dottor!!

I had switched to Deflate compression, & it was acting as described in my initial post. After I switched to No Compression, it started working!!

We are experiencing the same problem here and disabling GZIP from Host Settings fixed the problem. Hopefully this can be fixed so that we can re-enable compression.

This bug is affecting other module as well. The Ventrian Property Agent Postback buttons all cannot be used. Similar errors with the menu, has to disable Gzip to have it work.

After upgrading to Community 6.5.1, I had the same problem which made it impossible to move or configure modules.
I disable Gzip compression - Restarted site and now all is working.

IMHO the best solution atm is using a different action menu. there is a great free one at dnnmoduleactions.codeplex.com by WatchersNet.
