Hi,
I have the site in a server Windows 2003 with DNN 5.2.2 and SQL Server 2005 STD. All works well.
I want to move the site in a server Windows 2008 R2  with SQL Server 2008 R2.
I have done this:
1) installed a standard site dnn 5.2.2 in new server : All ok.
2) Restore of the backup database SQL 2005 in SQL 2008 R2 64Bit: ok , it has finished with: The restore of database 'MYDATABASE' completed succesfully
3) I copy the web directory  from the server 2003 to the server 2008
4) Change the sql connection strings and the machinekey in web.config ( the machinekey  is that of the dnn 5.2.2 std that have worked )
5) Browse to http://localhost/  and appears:

Click to Access You Portal. The portal appears  but I don't access with the password of root !!

Why has it made the updating from version 04.09.05 to 05.02.02 ?  The site of origin is already in version 05.02.02

What can I do?

Thanks

As it is possible that a dnn version 5.2.2 transferred on sql 2008 ask an updating from version 4.9 ? Perhaps it was a web directory that has had the updating from  4.9 to 5.2 and they have remained some fileses of the 4.9 ?

no, if you are moving a site, no upgrade should occur. The old database should already be on version 5.2.2 (see highest value in versions table). most likely you transferred the wrong database.

Hi Sebastian.
You are right, the database was wrong!
Now I have tried with the correct database, the sites are seen by the browser,  but the passwords of hots and Admin don't work!

Why?
What can I do?
Thanks
