Hi all,
I have just downloaded your blog module, seeing that most of the usual modules for a site don't come installed by default, but I need to learn the proper way to install it in the modules folder.  Is it just a matter of copying the files into the folder in the structure they're in, or do I have to do something else with them first?  Any feedback is appreciated.  Thanks.

to install extensions (modules, skins, language packs etc) login to your site as superuser ("host"), go to Extensions in Host Menu. Make sure, you are in edit mode. From action menu of the module, select "install extension wizard" for downloaded 3rd party extensions or "install available extensions" for bundled modules (including blog).

Oops, found the section, but I didn't see that this happened twice.  This is the error I got: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at
System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions
options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access)
at DotNetNuke.Services.Upgrade.Upgrade.InstallPackage(String strFile, String packageType, Boolean writeFeedback) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Extensions.BatchInstall.InstallPackageItems(String
packageType, CheckBoxList list, Label errorLabel, String errorKey) at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String
path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs,

strFile, String packageType, Boolean writeFeedback) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Extensions.BatchInstall.InstallPackageItems(String packageType, CheckBoxList
list, Label errorLabel, String errorKey).  What did I do?  It looks like a permissions error, so do I need to modify the permissions in IIS itself?  Thanks so much for cooperating with a noobie like me!

please make sure, the account to be used by ASP.Net (as configured in your IIS App Pool) has full file system permissions for the DNN install directory and all subfolders.
