Is there any way to restrict the users of the AD provider to AD Groups.  I only want people belonging to a few AD groups to have access to login to the site.   Is it possible to maybe create a single group that contains all users of the site and use that as the root.

I'd have to do some testing but I don't think it'll work under the current setup. If it was an LDAP provider then it might work.
