Not sure where to post this - it's about the DNN website..

There is an error in FireFox that lowers the professional look (works fine in IE for some reason)

If you view any page (I haven't tested all, but most seemed to) in FF and then click on the DNN logo on the top left (if you wanted to go back to the homepage for example), it gets a strange querystring like
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/mid/2108/threadid/40609/scope/posts/%5C
instead of www.dotnetnuke.com

this was after viewing the Forums first....

If I view it in IE it works fine. Anyone else seen this?

This is a known bug. The reason it works in IE is because Microsoft likes to code for the stupid user. Of course, these are my words and not Microsoft's %5C represents a backslash, which IE renders virtually the same as the forward slash. Firefox, however, sees this and thinks the URL is relative to the current location.

Anyway, this has been brought up several times and just hasn't been fixed yet, for some reason. Don't really know why. It's probably a mixture between the fact that very few people have access to change something like this on the site and most users use IE and don't experience this problem. One day it'll be fixed... one day.

Hmmm - I would think this should be high priority - it really cheapens the website (consider the site gets 3 mil views a day or something ridiculous, i's fair to say a lot of people are hitting this each day...
