Is this happening on automatic logins, manual logins, or both? What if the AD group is Global rather than Universal? And it's a Security group not a Distribution group right?

 Hi, thanks for the reply..

Automatic logins isn't enabled.  These are manual login's for these users.  I created a test Global-Security group and added a user which is having issues to this group.  Still can't login with this user.

As I said, it's VERY odd because some user don't have any issues where-as other do..

Thanks again.. -Jeff

Only think I can think of now is try LDAPBrowser from the server and use that users credentials and see what you can pull back from the AD

In case someone has these same odd issues, have the users check the length of their domain passwords.

In the case of 8 of our 10 users which couldn't log in with their Domain credentials, their passwords were below 7 characters in length.  DNN requires new user passwords to be at least 7 characters in length; our domain profile allows for password of 5 or greater characters.  Changing their domain passwords to 7 characters in length and having them try to log-into the site, they were able to log in without any issues.  Once their account is created within DNN, they can change their domain password back to what it was prior and they'll be good to go.

The other two users are having another totally different problem.  Thanks for your assistance.. -Jeff

You can change the length of password that DNN requires to match that of your domain in your web.config.
