Hi,

I have AD setup and working with DNN but have an issue where if a user logs off there is no way to log back in.  When the user goes back to the DNN site there is no login prompt.  The only way that I've been able to get around this issue is to clear the browser's cache.  I'm running DNN 5.6.1 and AD Authentication Extension 5.0.2.

There's a cookie set by IIS before it attempts to autologin again. Back in .NET 1 (or maybe as far as 1.1) you could set when the cookie expired but you can't anymore and the time is random. Anywhere from 1/2 hour to an hour before it expires. There's nothing that we can do about it.

Mike:

Is this a client-side cookie?  Are there any ways that we can delete the cookie ourselves reliably?

I'm assuming it's client side but I've never dug that deep into it. So far the only way I know to short circuit it is to clear cache and cookies.

It's kind of outside of the scope of this thread, but the issue we're talking about inspired me to add another widget to the Widget Suite road map.
