I already have this problem of a missing Module Creation Page. I do not understand how to go about the manual fixing of the registration that Sebastian mentions.

I hoped that an upgrade might fix it.

I began at V05.02.03 and tried to upgrade to v05.05.01.  I get messages about
"Executing Application Upgrades: 05.03.00 Error!"
"Executing Application Upgrades: 05.05.00 Error!"

Later on I get some install package errors.  The entire upgrade output is pasted below [1]

I have seen some evidence that it is not wise to attempt huge upgrades - ie lots of changes in one go.  I have already applied an 04.09.04 to 05.02.03 upgrade in an attempt to get 'closer' to the failing 05.03.00 upgrade.

Is there any place where I can find out what was being upgraded when I hit the 05.03.00 upgrade error?  I looked in the Event Viewer and found no failure messages at all.

Is it likely that this error is caused by the same problem that has lost my Create Mofule pages?   Is it likely that this error caused the other later errors?  What action can I take to fix it?

I find the best way is to try to manually upload one of the ZIP files that failed to install, using the Host/Extensions page. That will give you a more detailed error message, which is also typically the same problem that is causing the application upgrade issues.

That being said, I would recommend going straight to 5.6.2, no need to go to 5.5.1 first

 Hi Chris,

Good suggestion.  I tried reinstalling the HTML module.  First it said it was already installed.  I invited it to repair the installation and I get this [1] - which gives me more information but I also have no idea how to correct.  Does anyone have any ideas?

I tried the same reinstallation with the Taxonomy and Messaging modules.  I get the same error.

I initially tried an upgrade straight to 5.6.2.  It had already failed.  That's led me to try smaller steps.
