Not sure if I'm doing something wrong here, but I am using DNN 5.5 and events module 5.1.4.

I have a group/user with edit rights to the entire module (view, edit, edit settings, event moderator, category editor, etc) on the module, and edit rights to the page for good meaure.  But when this person logs in, they have view rights only, no options to add events.

Am I missing something else on the permissions settings for this module?  Not sure why she cannot see options to add events.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi Eric,

This could be because they have the page in View mode. You will notice when you login as admin/host that you have a radio box at top left where you can chose between View/Edit/Layout. It is possible that the user has somehow got changed to View. There used to be an option to display the radio buttons for users in admin or host settings, I forget where though.

Shout if you can't find it.

Cheers

Roger

I believe with Events 5.2.0 we have broken the dependence on the core Edit Module permission subject to a minor bug I have identifgied today - http://dnnevents.codeplex.com/workite...
