Hi devs ..

mmmm. this is my delimma ...I'm developing a store portal contains sub store portals. it's like a mall every portal has a store. for this, I'm using NB_Store the great free store for DNN and it's like the others: doesn't REALLY support multi-portal.

so I had to develope another module displays all products from all portals in a page at the parent portal. This was so easy and .. the not-so-easy part for me is creating a link or URL goes to the product page in its portal (the page has nb_store module)

so .... a module displays all products located in a page in the parent portal. when you click the image, it directs you to the product page in (x) sub-portal and the page contains nb_store module (that displays product info)

I red alot in DNN books I purchased from Packt and Wrox about navigateURL, module communicator, listener ,,,,,, but no results ...

can anyone handed me the hand of hope ?

note: I'm using Michael Washington development technique in his book "Building Websites with DotNetNuke 5"

I guess my problem was unclear ...
I just need to understand how to pass parameters via link in datalist or gridview to a page in child portal.

I really need help :)

The best way I've found to understand things is to look at the core modules to see how they are doing it.

Here is a few examples of NavigateUrl:

NavigateURL(Me.TabId, Null.NullString, "signupType=plan")

NavigateURL(Me.TabId, Null.NullString, "signupType=plan", "src=advertising")

TabID is the page ID you want to go to, the 3rd parameter allows you tp specify any number of parameters, e.g. see the second example.
