I am new to DNN, I have installed DNN and would now like to create asimple Latest News functionality. I tried the Announcement module but don't understand how the linking works!!! What am I missing. Where should I look, I would like the module to show a small text and when clicked "more" shows the complete news in another page. Please help me get started.

Hi Krishna, add the page with the complete story, then when adding the Announcement select Page as the Link type (directly under the Editor window) and then select the relevant page with the complete story from the drop down box. That will then add a 'read more' link  Personally, I always use a Blog for news items as it saves creating separate pages.all the time.

Hi,
Check out digArticle.  You can easily do what you are asking.  Its template driven which makes it easy to customize to our needs.
Thanks

Hello Pingle, thanks for the response. I did try the Blog module which suits the requirement better then the announcement module as mentioned by you. But now when I click on the title it does not take me anywhere although I see the tokens in place. The token has the following entry

[TITLE]

But when I click on the title, the response is the same page!!! Can you please give me a lead on how to get this going? Thanks
