Hi.

After upgrading from 5.6.3 to 6.01, without any errors, i see tones of this error in the event logs. Any suggestions on what could be ?

Going to the urls directly doesn't show any errors to the visitors.

Thanks

I would also like to ask the author of the Forums (Chris) if this error is critical (aka DB related) because i have a 1 day window to roll back to 5.6.3 without any major losses.

thanks

No reply from anybody.

So, i'm sorry to say that but in EVERY update i have done with DNN, i always have new or different errors with the Forum module. And nobody cares to fix them.

I know that is has been discontinued and to be honest i'm glad. Maybe with the new AF module we will have a proper forums module that behaves correctly and doesn't crash here and there.

I think you must have somthing unique to your install.  I've done a few upgrades over the years (none to V6 yet) and I have not "...always had errors with the Forum...".

It's probably worth understanding what makes your install special.

Best wishes,

Nothing special. And not only one installation but two.

The only special i can think is that i'm always checking each and every red error in my event.

.. and most of the errors i have are posted by others sooner or later.
