Hello,

We are looking at migrating an existing site from Joomla to DNN. As a results, we want to redirect some of the highest ranking pages from the Joomla .php files to the new corresponding pages in DNN. Since the DNN site is obviously hosted on an IIS server, there is no .htaccess file. So how do you go about issuing 301 redirects for the old Joomla pages?

Thanks in advance,
Chad

dotnetnuke supports url rewriting including custom urls (via the config/SiteUrls.config file that can be managed under host->host settings). However it has some limitations (i believe it emits 302's rather than 301's) - a popular solution to this is http://www.ifinity.com.au/Products/Url_Master_DNN_SEO_Urls
