I've had that myself when i did a upgrade using different ip's. Try using another browser to confirm if is browser orienatated. Also if you are using IE try compatabilty mode. I must admit i think is a bug and it may need checking into gemini.

Very strange. I checked it in IE and FF and it doesn't work. A collegue suggested Chrome. I go to host > pages. I get a popup. I think 'It works!', but i click on eventviewer nothing happens, i click back on pages nothing happens. Same behaviour as IE and FF. What now?

Event Viewer could be cause of all the application crashes that will be logged. Etc the log file will be enormous. You can prob fix that by running from host>sql "TRUNCATE TABLE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}EventLog"

Then retry eventviewer, also try maybe to fix ie try clicking the compatability button on and test and then off and then test. Wierd i know byt someone told me it worked for them.
