I'm looking at using this module for a library of 3,000 documents. If there are performance issues at only 600, I'm wondering what my other options are. Obviously, I don't want to waste time implementing something that won't work.

Hello,

I just upgraded my DNN from 4.9.5 to 5.6.3 (still using repository 03.01.14).
Everything was fine with 300 items in the repository.

Unfortunately, when I wanted to modify the number of items displayed in the dashboard (latest uploaded + top rated), the module crashed (not appropriated with DNN 5.x). Therefore, I decided to upgrade to repository 03.05.04 (without reading this thread !!!)

Consequence: I have the same problem then everybody, my page takes 35 seconds to load (I display only 20 items).

Temporary hack: remove your dashboard and it will load in ~4 seconds for 20 items...
So far, no other solution if Steve Fabian does not find a rapid solution.

My question: can I rollback a module (I would like to go back to 03.01.14 which was working just fine, I will update the dashboard through the table, as I done in the past).

Thanks for your help.
DV FX
PS: My pages are located here (and another one here which is a little bit faster)
PS Bis: Steve, if you need beta tester as I done in the past, I am ready !!

I have a repository with 1300 items and 13 categories (plus attributes) the repository seems to be ok - users have not complained about filering and moving between pages. However the repository dashboard was woefull - I had it on the home page so it looked like logging in took an eternity. Removing the dashboard fixed the problem. The site worked very well withh 5.3 (or the highest version on which the old repository worked)My client effectively only uses repository and document modules (it is a private site).
An obvious answer is to move to the professional version of dnn but the client will not pay the professional fees for such a small (in functionality) site. They are likely instead to move from dnn completely
Cheers
David

Like many other users, I also experiment very long loading time for the repository (even without dashboard, that is even worst with dashboard).

Any patch, any idea, any solution ???
