I AM NOT A PROGRAMMER, or DEVELOPER, just a admin.
I am having major problems with the rendering of the new 6.0
FIRST and Foremost.
The menus drop down behind the installed modules making them unaccessable.
this happens intermittently on all browsers. The only solution despite, page refreshes, login views, clearing of browser caches, is to log out, and reopen the browser.
The control panel drops down and does the same thing.
The modal settings feature gives even more problems, with uneven rendering especially in IE9 (the rendering has to be 10 times larger) .
Is there a menu system that behaves in most browser correctly,Is there a skin, tried all of the DNN installed skins and all have similiar problems. I cannot even get the login module to appear correctly in IE9.
I do not know how to change the default menu, but from what I see in the forums I should change my menu system to a new type. Is there clear instructions somewhere on the DNN site, that would give me clear step by step instructions how to change?
I do not have any special skins, or menu systems installed, just the defaulted ones inherited from the 5.0 installation.

Hi Patrick,

Firstly, there were issues with the z-index (menus opening under modules) on some skins in DNN 6.0.0, some of these issues were resolved in DNN 6.0.2, so upgrade to 6.0.2 if not already. If still not resolved then it means teaking the z-index value.

For some help with the new DDR Menu check out http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/DDRMenu-user-guide.aspx

Hope that helps!
