Thank you for the swift resolution and for listening to your users.  I can confirm that on my sites where we're allowing it, you can edit html and if the checkbox is off on the editor you can have it not remove scripts etc.

Very disappointed in DNN Corp. on the handling of this issue. :(

how come - we identified the issue and had a release out resolving it under 2 weeks (which also fixed some client dependency issues)?

Because it wasn't well communicated and many "HTML Modules" broke and had script removed that was working prior to the upgrade/fix.

Forcing developers to go back on re-implement a ton of content because of a poorly communicated "fix" is always going to irk some people.

Not saying a fix was not necessary ,because it was.

But knowing that this had the potential to remove script code from HTML content on save or edit?

That should have been communicated in big bold letters on a dedicated forum post to warn users and content editors of the potential for losing working code/content.

there was a warning in the release blogpost - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Blogs/EntryId/3215/Security-bulletins-released-ndash-5-6-4-6-1-0.aspx . Please note, the upgrade did not break anything, it's only if the user updated an existing html module that code was removed - and we rushed out a release to address this.
