Slightly off topic, but not much... I have noticed that the rendering in the edit pane and preview pane frequently don't match the actual webpage at all. The biggest offender here is pagragraph separation. If I type a paragraph in, hit enter 2x then type another paragraph, that blank between paragraphs isn't preserved when I save. If I shift-enter and force a line break, then it's fine, but I shouldn't HAVE to do that, and when pasting in bulk text from another editor, it's a real pain to have to go back and fix every paragraph like that.

This is very frustrating for non-power users who just want to go in there and change the text, but usually have no HTML knowledge. I spend a fair amount of time explaining how to work around these types of rendering issues.

The editor is fully capable of delivering as near to wysiwyg appearance in the HTML edit pane -  to do this - you MUST have the editor.css file setup to exactly represent the elements that are needed to control layout from within your skin.  After this you should look at the refinement and control options in the HTML Editor Manager - there are options there to control the handling of Breaks / Paragraphing.
