Hi Roy,
I want to upgrade to DNN 6.1.0 and have also the Morpheus skin and just before take a look on the forum and now i think it si the best way before upgrading a solution !!
i suppose the fix or new version can be download by snowcovered.com in Patch or a link ?
hope that include the manual to setup correctly
thank you for your help
best regards

M V,

I don't think anyone has a direct solution to this issue yet. I'd hold off on upgrading if you are using the Morpheus skin until there is a resolution of some kind.

Hi Ian Robinson
Thank you for your proposal
I do not think I'll upgrade to version 6.1.0
I have other modules to upgrade but are still in production,
I have ask  Evan for this fix and expect an answer ...
if you have a Morpheus intermediate solution that i can test, I'm interested.
best regards

Cheers from France, Michel

Ian,

Since this appears to be a "breaking" change in 6.1,  what is the likely timeline to get this issue resolved? (Only in your opinion...realizing you are not making a commitment for the team)...

I agree with Evan in that this needs to be resolved by company rather than "patch" his product and then have to re-patch it.

This change appears to have caused more than just Evan's product to break...based on some of the comments heard so far.

Hey Roy,

I can't speculate as to a time-frame, but I know this issue, along with a couple of others, are (in my opinion)
definitely getting the appropriate amount of attention and priority.

**********
Hi MV,

Thank you for purchasing Morpheus and SkinLab.

I'm sorry for the trouble.

UPDATE:

There is a known DNN issue in version 6.01.00. DNN 6.01.00 loads the CSS files in a different order than previous versions. This issue has been verified by DNN Corp. and has also been fixed in version 6.01.01 as stated on the support.dotnetnuke.com page for the issue (18620).

This issue affects all skins that use the Core DNN Styles skin object to load any CSS files.

Complete DNN 6.01.00 Issue and Resolution details:
http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=18620&PROJID=2

A fix for this issue in the skin will only complicate things because as soon as the next build of DNN is released, the order of the CSS files will be re-reversed (changed back to the original order) as a fix for this bug. This in turn can cause issues with the version of the skin that was fixed for this particular bug.

RESOLUTION:

We highly recomend that you do not upgrade to DNN version 6.01.00. If you have already upgraded to version 6.01.00, you can do the following:

1. Roll back to your previous version of DNN or downgrade to DNN 6.00.02.

2. Upgrade to DNN version 6.01.01 or later. As of now ver. 6.01.01 is not publically released, so you will have to wait until version 6.01.01 or later is released. The DNN issue 18620 has now been fixed in DNN version 6.01.01.

3. We have released a hotfixed version of the Morpheus skin pack that can be installed and used with DNN 6.01.00 only. This version will install a new instance of the Morpheus skin pack and will not affect any skins in your existing instance (if any). This version is recommended to be used only on DNN 6.01.00, although it will work fine with any other version of DNN as well, we recommend that you do not use this hotfixed version of the skin pack for any other version of DNN.

The DNN 6.01.00 Hotfixed version of the skin pack can be downloaded ,
send a message to the support if you have a valid license
Install this skin pack as outlined in the original documentation. This package installs as a new set of skins and does not affect any of your previous Morpheus presets.

SKINLAB 1.0.8 - NEW VERSION:

We have also just released a newer version of the SkinLab Module for better DNN 6.0+ compatibilty. You may download version 1.0.8 of the SkinLab module from your Snowcovered.com downloads area. The file that the Downloads PDF links to has been updated to version 1.0.8.

I'm sorry for any trouble this may have caused.

I hope this helps, best of luck with your projects,
Thanks,
Evan O'Neil
