Hi, I have a huge problem with the module I have developed.

I built the module successfully using Visual Studio 2010 (I work in a DNN6 environment). Then I tried to install the module from manifest on my localhost dnn testing website. I must have messed something up because I got some errors. Then, I decided to uninstall the module after some minor corrections in my project files. The uninstall process throwed some error but the module is now unistalled from the extentions list.

Afterwards, I;ve decided to built the solution again in VS2010 and unfortunately I was not able to do that anymore due to the following error:

"Unable to start debugging on the web server. The web server is not configured correctly."

Could anyone please give me a hint what might be wrong with my project now?

Thanks a lot in advance for all response.

unfortunately there are many possible reasons for this (http://www.bing.com/search?q=Unable+to+start+debugging+on+the+web+server.The+web+server+is+not+configured+correctly&src=IE-SearchBox&FORM=IE8SRC ) - in your case I suspect that you do not have the site configured in IIS correctly so i would check that first.

Just in case anyone else runs across this, when you upload your Module, make sure you do not upload a web.config with it. The Module's web.config will conflict with the website's web.config.

Just rename it and restart the website.

This worked for me.
