I found the culprit!

Bind's "Ultimate JQuery Slideshow" Module...

However I am not sure if it is DNN or the module. Everything was working up until the 6.1.1 update. It was fine on 6.1.0 so something changed in DNN, but not sure what the clashing element is:

If I create a new page and place modules on it... they are fine. Until I add the Bind's "Ultimate JQuery Slideshow" module... then the Manage buttons unfade and are not selectable...

Something on this module is the causing this to happen or somehow DNN has altered the way it is calling the Jquery class.

Are there other things to consider when this behavior is happening. First I am using DNN360.net MegaMenu and side menu. Both work fine in DNN 6.0.2 but in 6.1.1 the MegaMenu stops rendering in the second menu item. And the SideMenu isn't rendering at all. The Manage buttons are not working either. You can see the site at this link.

I saw some similar behavior when I did my initial DNN upgrade to 6.0.2 but it was because I was preventing the default.css from loading. That was leftover from DNN 5 stuff I was doing. So I think my issues are related to either the order or the lack of loading of either css or jquery.

If you can provide some things I can test that would be great. I really needed 6.1 because it resolved another issue I had in 6.0.2. So hopefully I can resolve this before I have to punt and restore to 6.0.2.

Thanks.

Are you guys all sure that you've cleared your browser cache (try a hard refresh, shift-refresh)

I upgraded to 6.1.1 on my personal site (one of them) and haven't seen any issues with JS so far

Chris, i did all that as usual.

I have also installed your default skin (instead of the Greytness from Adammer i use) but no luck.

Strange is that those problems are in my HOME page ONLY !!! So it must be something in my home page.

I'm trying to figure out with Chrome from where this comes from

Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'draggable'

I'm only seeing the behavior on the Home page as well, but as jdcboss pointed out, Ultimate JQuery Slideshow causes this issue and I have a Ultimate JQuery Slideshow on the Home page. Also, Firefox 3.6.24 and IE 8 render the page a little differently. In Firefox, the DNN site is missing Home/Admin/Modules/Pages/Tools menu and in IE, the Home/Admin/Modules/Pages/Tools menu is available and works but the hover does not work.
