Using Razor quite a bit lately and just encountered a surprise after upgrading a site to 5.06.05 (on .NET 4 if that matters). Any page with the Razor Host module has stopped working and when logged in as Host displays:

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException:
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files\root\14793d17\53295e9e\App_Web_razorhost.ascx.97268e87.jqlhllbc.0.vb(58): error BC32206:

The project currently contains references to more than one version of DotNetNuke.Web.Razor, a direct reference to version 5.6.4.0 and an indirect reference (through 'DotNetNuke.Modules.RazorHost.RazorHost') to version 5.6.5.0. Change the direct reference to use version 5.6.5.0 (or higher) of DotNetNuke.Web.Razor.

please raise this as an issue at support.dotnetnuke.com. You could try adding a binding assembly redirect to forward requests for the 5.6.4 version to 5.6.5 (look at the web.config for the telerik redirects to get an idea how to do this)

I did try adding the binding assembly redirect but have no idea how to find the (apparently necessary) PublicKeyToken.

Also, based on the above error, would I be redirecting DotNetNuke.Web.Razor or DotNetNuke.Modules.RazorHost.RazorHost or something else?

There are already at least two posts on this in support.dotnetnuke.com; DNN-18605 and DNN-17054 and the latter claims it was fixed in 5.6.4. If you think it is worth posting what appears to be another duplicate, please say so and I will get the info in there.

Has anything happened on this? I still have a couple of blank pages on a production site and need to get this fixed.

Is anyone able to help regarding figuring out the PublicKeyToken? Thanks - Jeremy

I just upgrade to 5.06.06 and the issue is not fixed.

I believe I can fix this myself with the BindingRedirect - IF - someone can tell me how to figure out the correct PublicKeyToken?

This is the error after upgrading (now):

error BC32206: The project currently contains references to more than one version of DotNetNuke.Web.Razor, a direct reference to version 5.6.4.0 and an indirect reference (through 'DotNetNuke.Modules.RazorHost.RazorHost') to version 5.6.5.0. Change the direct reference to use version 5.6.5.0 (or higher) of DotNetNuke.Web.Razor
