hello,

please note 5.6.6 only resolves 2 low security issues - that branch has been sunsetted, all bugfixes/enhancements (except for security fixes) go into the 6.x releases.

The dll has no publickeytoken as it's not strongly signed (it's assembly info looks like this:DotNetNuke.Web.Razor, Version=5.6.6.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null ) -i would check to see if you need to update the razor host module (via available extensions)

I did the install available extensions thing and installed RazorHost 5.6.6 with no problem, but it made no difference. The page still displays this error:

error BC32206: The project currently contains references to more than one version of DotNetNuke.Web.Razor, a direct reference to version 5.6.4.0 and an indirect reference (through 'DotNetNuke.Modules.RazorHost.RazorHost') to version 5.6.6.0. Change the direct reference to use version 5.6.6.0 (or higher) of DotNetNuke.Web.Razor.

So then I added the following BindRedirect to web.config (above is without it):

<dependentAssembly>
   <assemblyIdentity name="DotNetNuke.Web.Razor" publicKeyToken="null" />
   <bindingRedirect oldVersion="1.0.0.0-5.6.5.0" newVersion="5.6.6.0" />
</dependentAssembly>

Then I still get the (same?) error:

error BC32206: The project currently contains references to more than one version of DotNetNuke.Web.Razor, a direct reference to version 5.6.4.0 and an indirect reference (through 'DotNetNuke.Modules.RazorHost.RazorHost') to version 5.6.6.0. Change the direct reference to use version 5.6.6.0 (or higher) of DotNetNuke.Web.Razor.

Any more suggestions? I really needs this fixed and I am sure there is some simple solution that I am overlooking. Thanks - Jeremy

See above. Anyone available that can assist? If I could get the BindingRedirect right I would be eternally grateful!

I just upgraded another DNN site from 5.06.03 to 5.06.06. As part of the process I also (without thinking) upgraded RazorHost to the 5.06.06 version via Install Available Extensions and now I have the same issue on another live site. The page was definitely working just before the upgrade because I happened to have it on screen in an open tab. After the upgrade, hit refresh and the error below was now visible instead of the normal module output/content (logged in as Host).

Can someone look at my post above and see if they can offer a suggestion as to how to get the BindingRedirect working in this case? Thanks - Jeremy
