So, we're trying to install DNN Pro on our Windows 7 64 bit computers, but everytime the installation is about to finish the whole install crashes. I attempted to try this with community edition, but that too crashed upon finishing install. This continues to happen on all the computers we try to install it on.

We're wondering if it's the OS we're using or if we are missing a program. Any suggestions as to why this keeps happening?

it migt be a permission issue, which install method are you using (WebMatrix, MS Web Platform installer, MS Visual Studio or standalone?) Which package are you using?

Web Platform Installer 3.0 it what we're using. As for package I'm not sure. If I find out I'll let you know. All I know is that it's DNN Pro.

I've had no luck with the WPI on a Win7 64-bit laptop installation.

I just do it the old fashioned way (manually) and DNN runs fine on that OS.

I just tried to do the community manager new install, but all I got was a bunch of files and folders, no .exe to run the program. Did I miss something?
