What I have now. Our web site (www.xxx.com) It is a simple splash site that I want to redo with dotnetnuke. I have worked that out and got it started. However I have 2 subsites written in .net connecting to another database. These 2 subsites are the companies main restricted area for reporting and invoicing purposes. They have to remain. As soon as I move these into dotnetnuke, they fail to work. In dotnetnuke, I created a virtual directory and pointed to each just like i did in the begining with my domain site. When I type in the site, they can't be found.

Can I install (I assumed I could) dotnetnuke and then multi instances of something else in subdomains. Each sub points to a different database

Secondly, I find to load dotnetnuke even on the local server with a local SQL database, it is real slow loading. Any idfeas on how to speed the process?

Thanks in advance

No help on this?

Main site is "dotnetnuke" with database called "dotnetnuke"

sub site A is directed to database called "db"

when we click on subsite A it tries to find "dotnetnuke"

sub site is configured ok. webconfig points to "db". It works if I create its own site

How about using subdomains like SubA.domain.com in the meantime for the subsites?
