In a DNN 6 site that uses AD authentication, how do you redirect the user to the original page if that page requires authentication? For example, if http://www.mysite.com/MyPage requires authentication, and the user gets redirected to http://www.mysite.com/DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory/WindowsSignin.aspx?returnurl=/MyPage.aspx. After logging in successfully, the user does not get redirected to MyPage.aspx.Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Joey,
How about using Urlencode?
http://www.mysite.com/DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory/WindowsSignin.aspx?returnurl=%2fMyPage.aspx

No, that doesn't work either. DNN already encodes the URL. The problem is the returnurl querystring is not being recognized by the WindowsSignin.aspx page.

I'll have to look because I thought I'd figured out a way around this (though I could be wrong). The problem is/was that the redirect to WindowsSignin.aspx and the following redirect back to the site is/was treated as fresh hit to the site and the returnUrl was getting dropped.

Log it in the IssueTracker @ http://dnnauthad.codeplex.com so that I have a reminder to look into it.

Just spent a few minutes looking at this and I was wrong. I hadn't figured out a way around it. I'll try to look into it further over the next few days but it may be something we can't do anything about.
