Firstly I hope this is the right place to ask!

Is it possible to login to a DNN site by passing a GSO credential set via HTTP header? We need to be able to do this in order to utilize the functionality offered by IBM TAMeB junctions.

 Thanks!

yes, you can build a custom authentication provider to do see - this http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Authentication_Providers.aspx

You may also want to look at creating a custom skin option to handle the detection of the http header credential set - which could then be used is combination with the authentication provider model.

While the provider model can do half the job - that is handling the association between different userid models.  It still requires the user the actually be on the LOGIN tab for it to work.  The addition of a custom skin object can be used to intercept the http header on all pages on your site.

Well, that is helpful thanks! I don't suppose there is any plugin available off the shelf that will accomplish this?

Thanks,
