I noticed that the links to the profiles of the people posting answers all go to the profile of the person who posted the original question. I posted an answer and thought I would link over to my profile and maybe do some profile updates. But the link went to Will Morgenweck's profile who posted the question.

It appears the rep algorithm isn't working properly...
Chris Paterra said: "If their answer was up-voted by other community members (at least once) that’s an additional +10 rep"

I've received 3 up votes for one of my answers but I have a total of 11 points right now and most of those points are from other questions and answers.

Also, why is the default sorting "Active" rather than "Votes". Again, that defeats the who point of a Q&A system. The best answers should rise to the top.

When we originally put the module on here (and started using it, including the public community) we didn't have any points being awarded for up-votes (and a few other things). Since then, I have changed this in the module and the settings and did a couple SQL queries to award points in some cases. Through the course of today/tonight and perhaps tomorrow, I plan on getting the 'reputation points' all squared away for these changes (Work in Progress) so this should all be ironed out over the course of the next day or two.

As to your point about the ordering of answers: I agree that votes should be the primary concern when it comes to answers (and the default selected sort order, along w/ accepted answer always being first) but this will require me to make a couple changes and test before moving the changes here (expect to see this rollout over the course of the next day or two).

I do appreciate the feedback from everyone, please continue to provide it here via the forums (avoid the Exchange as its not really the spot for dicussions).

I agree with David that the comment everywhere needs to be much lower.  I am forced to enter "answers" just to respond to someone else's answer.

Chris,

Wonderful job on this module!! We are using this as a community driven knowledge base for our corporate intranet.

For a v1 beta, pretty impressive.

BTW, just entered an issue up on code plex for you. :)

There's an issue with the popup menu for the dashboard link, it's partially hidden and the first option is almost completely hidden/blocked.
