We have a problem in functionality of dnn  tab module in admin menu. The problem is when we move  level 1 menu item to root level, level value(level field value in Tabs table) becomes -1 instead of 0.  After this, menu item  having level value -1 can't be moved to another order(suppose it's in second position and i would like to move this to bottom) in menu hierarchy.

Though we fixed this problem using DNN database(going to table Tabs), where we upated level value -1 to 0 it woks when we move menu item down to another menu(or we can move this to another position). But again after moving menu item one  level up results in setting level value to -1 instead of 0. This problem ruining us.

Thanks in advance for speedy reply.

Post below partially address my issue:

http://www.rmjcs.com/DotNetNuke/SQLScripts/FindandFixTabLevelsandTabPaths/tabid/1187/Default.aspx

Once i run sql script given in above post, improper tabs get a kind of fix(gets proper level value and tabpath), but later when i again promote level 1 tab to root level(level 0) same issue re-appears.

 Any idea from any one?
