Hi All

I am still new at DNN :-)
Just installed on a new site and all working well, except for the host --> Host settings

Here is the error I am getting, can anyone assist ?

Error: Host Settings is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: key ---> System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: key at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.Insert(TKey key, TValue value, Boolean add) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Host.HostSettings.BindHostDetails() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Host.HostSettings.BindData() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Host.HostSettings.OnLoad(EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Thanks

What version are you running - there was a known issue in early 6.x releases (think it may have only been 6.0 but not 100% sure) where this was caused by duplicate skin names

Thank you for the feedback.

Since I can't get into the host setting I can't see the full version. Maybe there is an alternative way :-)

I did an SQL select on the version table and it says Version 6. I do belive that this is an early version 6 as I did this site when 6 first came out.

Here is the event log, is there anysugesstion on how to fix ? Thanks in advance

I would do an upgrade as this would seem to be the skin issue - alternateively look in the portals/_default/skins and portals/0/skins folder and remove any duplicate skins -then use the tools menu to recycle the application and see if that resolves it
