Can anyone confirm that this is the same issue? http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=17534&PROJID=2

Maybe it's different...if it is, do we need to log an issue for it?

I was able to replicate this issue in an upgraded installation of DNN. It's a bit of a show-stopper for people who edit content.

Thanks!

Matt

If you change all folders to use lower case i.e. images instead of Images then it all works fine. it is something to do with capitalization on folders.

Thanks for everyones help/

Paul, did you log the capitalization issue, so the DNN engineering team is able to look after it? Thanks in advance.

Sorry no I did not but I was wrong that does not fix the issue completely I have to clear my cache and restart the apllication then run the following SQL query

UPDATE [dbo].[Folders]
SET [FolderPath] = LOWER([FolderPath]);

The folders reappear for a while but after a day or even an hour they vanish again and I have to repeat the process. Can some one log it for me as to be honest I can not remember how to add a fault to the gemini system.

Thanks
Paul

the only option to remove items from the folder table besides using file manager or other modules is the file system sync scheduled job. if you are not creating folders manually in the file system, you might disable the job to prevent this happening.
