P.S. Chris - I just added a new blank page named videos. Again, I was able to do this by clicking the browser Stop button to prevent the redirection to the page specified in the meta Refresh tag (wherever in the heck that is located??)

So the new page can be viewed at (if you click the browser Stop button before it goes to http://www.the-domain-you-want-to-redirect-to.com/) http://www.yourpetworld.com/dotnetnuke/videos.aspx.

Even though this page was just added by me with no content entered for the page, the meta tag Refresh is still (somehow?) redirecting to the  http://www.the-domain-you-want-to-redirect-to.com page.

I don't understand how the meta tag could be controlling this new page which does not contain the meta tag Refresh directive.

Thanks,
David

This is likely just bad HTML and browsers rendering/responding to the bad HTML, this isn't something that DotNetNuke controls.

If you want to add meta tags into DNN you do it through the page settings for a specific page. Though I would just use the standard redirect URL options in the page settings instead.

Thanks for the info, Chris. Yes, now I see I should have either entered the <meta refresh> tag in the Page Header Tags section or use the Link Url setting to an external resource. Making mistakes is an effective teaching method.

I appreciate your response.

P.S. Do you ever get any sleep with all the support you provide?

David
