I've installed DNN on a server running:

DNN: 6.1.3
IIS: 6.0
SQL Server 2008

The install went smoothly though I did have to add Network Service user. This server is accessed through a firewall and I'm using Host Header in IIS.The SQL Server is on a separate box but again setup went smoothly so I'm not sure if this is the problem.

Now I'm getting a 404 anytime I try to navigate off of the 'Home' page ie. default.aspx for the site. I've tried checking permissions on both the folders on the web server and the db user (who is set up as owner).

Any ideas for further troubleshooting or solutions would be helpful.

You Said you Added the Network Services User, what access did you grant the user?  Also, did you grant access at your rootlevel folder (i.e. wwwroot), and if so, did you ensure that your folders are all inheriting permissions from their parent (check to be sure you have inheritance turned on).

Get back to me on these permissions settings, and if something else jumps out at me I will update the post.
