I've added several custom check box fields to my site registration page; this is a registration page available to all site visitors. I'd like to "automatically" assign a security role to the registrant based on which custom check box field they have selected. Is this possible?

Also, is it possible to customize the content of the registration notification email that goes out to the registrant based on which custom check box(es) they chose on the registration page?

I'm fairly new at this and I'm not a programmer, so hopefully there is a simple solution. :-)

There are optional "Services" that a user can subscribe to. When logged in and the user click on their Username to manage their account they will see a link to "Manage Services". These Services are essentially security roles. The Admin determines whether or not a user can see the "Manage Services" link on their profile. That is done through the Admin > User Accounts page at the bottom click "User Settings". It's not exactly what you asked about but may be a close fit.

Email notifications are configurable, go to Admin > Languages > click the Site pencil to edit the language for just the one site. There are a lot of options there but they are also documented in the DNN Admin Guide.
