Perhaps you misunderstood my question with all my descriptions and explanation.

I dont want to switch language for page and module editors, just the content. The issue that im really having is that when users select a flag it doesnt really switch language, it stays in english, making them unable to see the content of the pages in the correct language. The only page they are able to do that is in the login page, they can switch to english or spanish.

What I've said in the previous posts is that only host and admins are able to switch the language in the pages but not normal users.

switching language switches content for all users and UI language for non-editors, this is by design. If you want to switch UI language for editors, use Advanced Control Panel.

In my case switching languages is not swicthing content for all users. Only host and admins.

Does the language switching work if you aren't logged in?
