Supporting William Severance's solution, I'd like to add another Use Case where the module will fail.

We installed DNN 5x initially with .NET 2x and every thing seemed to work fine. Later we upgraded / added .NET 4x to the system and everything was still working fine.

I used a good DNN backup / restore solution to move the a new ISP and of course the module would not render images.

That is, until I made the subtle changes outlined in Williams' post.

Although one would want to upgrade, sometimes we are stuck with maintaining previous installs as customers have no need, desire, nor intent of spending the resources needed to do a site update - especially if everything is working.

Thanks guys for the information !!
