When visitors land on my site, the dotnetnuke editor is maximized at the top of the page (the menu with page functions, adding modules, etc). How do I get this menu to be minimized as the default?

 TIA.

which DNN version are you using? if you are talking about Ribbon Control Panel in DNN 5, there is a default setting in Admin > Site Settings. However, this just controls initial view, if a user expands the panel, the state will be persisted (same for collapse, of course).

I am running DNN6 current public version and when I hit the home page I see the menu (view and edit) when I am not logged in.

I even tried running IE in private mode and see the same thing.

I figured it out.  I had a module on the page that I gave edit rights to.
