I just purchased webhosting with IX Webhosting with the hope of quickly getting a DNN site running, but it has not been very successful.

When I try to access the website, it asks for a user name and password just to view the page. When I cancel (because none of my credentials worked) I get the following error message. Any help would be much appreciated!

Server Error in '/nuke' Application.

Access to the path 'D:\hshome\...\nuke\App_Data\ClientDependency' is denied.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'D:\hshome\c362033\raid5solutions.com\nuke\App_Data\ClientDependency' is denied.

most likely you didn not grant file system permission to the Windows user account used by ASP.Net (as configured in the application pool of your IIS web site).

See if your hosting control panel allows you to grant full access to your website.  Mine does and changing permissions worked, just like Sebastian stated.

Thank you all for your responses. It did turn out to be a permissions thing that I did not have control over. I had to put in a ticket with the web host.

I apologize for the misguided post here. I had done the live chat with my web host and they insisted it was a web.config issue.
