On further digging and Commenting out code, it seems that any of my controls (HyperLinks, Buttons, Hidden Fields) are not being rendered, and as far as I can tell it seems to have something to do with the Designer.cs file for the View.ascx part. (Though I could be incorrect about that) But, some errors were popping up with things like:

this.btnNewCategory.Click += new System.EventHandler(this.btnNewCategory_Click);

and when commented out they go away. Now that that stuff is commented out the module loads but only shows stuff that it typed in Text.
