Thanx brian, Brian what about the ModuleID, Content, DateCreated, UserID fields, I mean the fields which are given by default, Is it compsory to keep those. or i can remove them and put my own fields in it.

What i understood is ModuleID is compulsory but if i remove others(Content, DateCreated, UserID) then i need to change all the code in Edit.ascx, View.ascx and Settings.ascx.

Do you know any example which creates a simple page with its own fields ?
I am a .net programmer and from a programmer perspective. I need to know that how can i manipulate code to put my own things in it. i mean to create a website which is dynamic.

Thanx

yes you can change anything you want to change...  moduleID is needed ..   and depending on the type of data.. itemID might be needed ..  if rows of data.. you need itemID

I just looked at www.entityspaces.com ..  interesting..   going to download the trial tonight.    Im still working with DNNKickStart on their beta..    Lots of things going on..         I also see you can build 3.x modules and use them in 4.x but they wont be using the simpler DAL (unless the generator was updated..)

Brian according to me itemID is the ID as a primary key for you table, Can be CustomerID or Any primary key field for the table.
Now tell me one thing, if i want to create a page which add, update and delete users from the table. Now i want to have my own interface for it.
I mean i want a DataGrid on it which displays all the users
Few text boxes to Add values and Edit values and Delete button.
When user will select a record from the dataGrid. and press Delete its gonna delete, If user will press edit its gonna display those values in TextBoxes and user can change them and update them back to Database and to Grid.
there will be a delete button user can select the Record from DataGrid and Press Delete which will delete the values.

I don want to have Edit.ascx and Settings.ascx

Is it possible to do that ? To have only single page which i need but still will be able to use DNN 4 Classes created by it.
