Installed DNN Community 6.2 to upgrade from 6.1.5 and received the following error:

How can this be corrected/

Compilation Error

Description: An error occurred during the compilation of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific error details and modify your source code appropriately.

Compiler Error Message: CS1705: Assembly 'DotNetNuke, Version=6.2.0.1610, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' uses 'Telerik.Web.UI, Version=2012.1.411.35, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=121fae78165ba3d4' which has a higher version than referenced assembly 'Telerik.Web.UI, Version=2011.3.1115.35, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=121fae78165ba3d4'

please check your web.config has the following node .Make sure the newVersion is as below - if it is not that suggests either your user does not have valid permissions (the website user requires modify permissions) or the web.config is marked read-only

        <bindingRedirect oldVersion="2008.0.0.0-2020.0.0.0" newVersion="2012.1.411.35" />
      </dependentAssembly>

If that is correct, then check the BIN folder.and ensure you have Telerik.Web.UI.dll file. If you do right click it, select properties, click details and read it's versiion - if it is not 2012.1.411.35 then you have an "old" version - grab a fresh 6.2.0 copy of dotnetnuke, unzip and look in install/modules and locate the telerik zip, uncompress it and copy the correct version of the file from there.

Thank you.  That worked.  I need to update the web.config file, as well as extract the updated Telerik DLLs into the website, BEFORE I was able to perform the update.  Not sure what the install issue was.
