Sure, we all understand all that. But you must admit that there is some come and go with that AF module.

At first it would be REwritten, then silence, then an announcement that it will be ready for 6.2, then some new announcement that it will NOT be Rewritten, then 6.2 is out without the module.

I write this in all good faith, don't get me wrong. Just let us know what the progress really is.

On my work with the DNN Forums Team I learned the complexibility of the module and how big the source is. Also all the team members worked on other projects and sometimes they have to set a priority to a other project. So I find the understanding why it took it time and often the time frame could not be hold.

A Forum module is very complexibility, so I hope you all can found an understand to the late release.

You all can help with thesting the Beta and give feedback codeplex.

Thanks.

I think the conversation from the old DNN module have still work to done.

Please Notice that all DNN Modules w/o the HTML will not longer be part of a package and have to download from the Extention Forge or dirctly from codeplex.

If I needed to install a forum for right now, until the official release is ready. What would I be better off installing. AF, the new forum beta or the old DNNForum module?
