  1. When I set module permission for registered user to edit modole. It's work, Registered user can create new thread and reply, But they can rename module title too. I don't want to enable Modult title renaming. How could I do?
  2. When I click Browse icon in "Authorized Edit Roles" in forum setting. It's popup window. But in all control in that window is disable. Why?

Can anyone help me? Thanks you

1. I can't seem to replicate that one and I'm running two versions of the forum, the newest released and the last one.  The only thing I can think of would be to uncheck the display container option.

2. There was a problem with the popup window.  It works but a little differently.  When it opens hit the go button and the list will populate then highlight the roles you want and click add.

Cheers,

Paul Davis

Hi Adeian, Thanks for  your reply in last question I do like you said. I click go button (it's already disable). But It's nothing happens. :(

I understand Security Role (now it's have admin, registered, subscriber) is mean a DNNRole right?

I have the same problem.  The "New Thread" option is missing.  The only time it appears is when I'm logged in as ADMIN.

I'd like to allow anonymous (non-logged in) users to post to the forum, and of course allow regular authenticated (non-admin) users to post.

Why is the "New Thread" link missing for everyone but admins?  Sounds like a serious bug unless I'm missing something.

Couple things here. First, this is not a bug and you must be doing something wrong. I am not sure what it is you are doing wrong but look through the posts for the last 5 days in this forum and you will see me answering this permissions things a couple times. (Sorry, no link nor time to find it). Please review the original General Discussion forum created in Edit Forum to see its settings.

Another thing is there is a pinned post which says Anonymous posting is not supported.

I hate to make it seem I am singling you out, and I don't mind answering questions even a few times but please put forth a little effort to read previous threads for at least the last week and those that are pinned.
