What happened to the "mode" setting in the journal settings?

How can I set up 4 kinds of journals/feeds on my portal?

*User (users own posts)

*All

*Group

*Friends

Appreciate any help!

im not sure what you mean - when youre posting a journal entry the 3rd icon across (the "eye" icon) allows you to set visibility to eveyone/community members/friends/private

Ah, no I mean the journal module itself. How does it know when to show post from

- my self (I guess it's automatic once you put it on a profile page

- me and my friends

- All from any member as long as the post itself is "Everyone/Community members"

If I create a page, called it "Friends" and put a journal on that page, how does the module know to show posts only from friends (and my own posts)?
