Understood. But when I add this in for .Net 4.0:

 <!-- allow large file uploads -->
    <httpRuntime useFullyQualifiedRedirectUrl="true" maxRequestLength="878906" requestLengthDiskThreshold="8192" requestValidationMode="2.0" />
    <httpCookies httpOnlyCookies="true" requireSSL="false" domain="" />

I get a 500 Internal Server Error and the site goes down. Why is this? All my other sites work fine...

Does anyone else out there have this issue? Also is there a way to check logs to see what is causing the 500 error when I apply this line of code?

I ran into a very similar issue during 6.2.0 testing late last year.

The maximum download size is also controlled from within Windows Server you'll need to read up on this article to find the optimal solution for your situation:

The 500 internal error also apears if you have a not well formed web.config file.  This could be a letter or symbol on a place where it haven't to be.

Please check the web.config file!

 I have 24 other sites that work fine on the same sever. Fro some reason on this site the line of code to determine the upload size is missing... when I add it in... I get the 500 error.
